Taliban evacuates wounded militants to Pakistan, claims Kandahar Police Chief
The Taliban have militants have evacuated their wounded militants to Pakistan after sustaining casualties during a clash in Takhta Pul district, provincial Police Chief General Tadin Khan Achakzai said Saturday.

“Armed terrorists attacked the Haji Nika security post in Takhta Pul district last night but our soldiers responded with high morale, leaving at least 14 militants dead and 7 others wounded,” Gen. Tadin Khan said in a Twitter post.
Gen. Tadin Khan further added that the dead bodies of the militants are left in the area but the group managed to evacuate its wounded militants to Pakistan.
The anti-government armed militants including Taliban have not commented regarding the clashes and casualties inflicted on its militants so far.
This comes as the Afghan officials have long been insisting that the leadership council of the Taliban group is based in Pakistan from where they plan and coordinated attacks in Afghanistan but the Pakistani officials claim that the militant and terrorist groups have no sanctuaries in the country.
