Reports emerging from Saudi Arabia suggest that Monday, 6th of May, will likely be the first of Ramadan as Ramadan moon was not sighted in the country on Saturday evening.

The moon observers in Saudi Arabia confirmed late on Saturday that there was no sight of the Ramadan crescent on Saturday, the Arab News media reported.
The first of Ramadan will be marked in United Arab Emirates on 6th of May as well.
As Afghanistan also following Saudi Arabia’s official announcement hence Monday will likely be the first day of Ramadan in Afghanistan too.
The Saudi Arabia Supreme Court had earlier earlier urged the citizens of the country to inform the nearest court if they spotted the Ramadan moon on Saturday evening.
