Taliban abduct six peace marchers in Logar
Taliban militants abducted six Afghan peace marchers in central Logar province on Saturday.

Bismillah Watandost, a spokesman for the marchers’ People’s Peace Movement, told 1TV that the marchers were on way to a ceremony in Shahrak district in provincial capital, Pul-i-Alam, when they were abducted.
The Taliban has yet to make comment.
This is not the first time that militants abduct members of People’s Peace Movement, which began last year as a sit-in and hunger strike in response to a Taliban bombing at a wrestling match in Helmand capital Lashkargah.
In June, Taliban abducted four members of the movement in Helmand, before releasing them.
