Four killed in attack on police checkpoints in Daikundi
forces were killed after Taliban militants attacked police checkpoints in Afghanistan's central Daikundi province early on Sunday, an official said.
The attack happened around 1:00a.m. in Kajran district.
Seven others including a civilian were injured in the assault, said Sakina Ehsani, the spokesperson for the provincial governor.
She said that the area was under Afghan forces control.
