The acting chief of the Afghan intelligence, National Directorate of Security (NDS) says the IS-K terrorists have carried out the recent attacks in cooperation with the Haqqani Network.
The Acting Chief of Intelligence, Ahmad Zia Saraj in a joint press conference with the Acting Interior Minister and the Chief of Staff said, NDS has a system to exchange information with the US and that the documents regarding the recent attacks would be shared with the US side.
According to Saraj, the Al Qaeda terrorist network, Lashkar-e Taiba and other groups have further strengthened their relations with the Taliban group.
He cited that the Taliban group has carried out at least 3,700 attacks following the signing of the peace deal with the United States.
“At least 420 civilians were killed and 906 others were wounded as a result of the Taliban attacks after the peace deal,” he added.
This comes as the Taliban insurgents rejected their involvement in the recent attacks, particularly the raid on maternity ward in Kabul and the funeral bombing in Nangarhar.
