Local officials said that, United Nations Children’s Fund or UNICEF and World Health Organization (WHO) provided medical and non-medical assistance to the Public Health Department of Logar.

Afghan Voice Agency(AVA)_Dr. Qudratullah Adil, Logar public health director, talking to Bakhtar News Agency, said, “The assistance which includes many medical equipment, surgery tools, delivery tables, physiotherapy tools, primary aid items, medicine… handed over to the officials of the department and Care of Afghan Families (CAF) NGO in presence of Logar governor, Enayatullah Shuja.”
He said that it was the second package of assistance provided by WHO and UNICEF which will be delivered to 56 healthcare centers in Logar province.
Logar governor, Enayatullah Shuja thanked the aid organizations and directed health officials to get good advantage of the materials and equipment provided to health centers.
The first package of the aid included various medical and non-medical items which provided to Logar Civil Hospital earlier.
He said that it was the second package of assistance provided by WHO and UNICEF which will be delivered to 56 healthcare centers in Logar province.
