Speaking at a news conference, the Kremlin spokesman of rejected Kabulov's statement regarding the recognition of the Islamic Emirate in the near future and if the preconditions are met, adding: "At the moment, there is no such talk."
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA), Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told a news conference in Moscow on Wednesday (June 16) that there is no such talk at the moment.
 
He even called the prediction about the identification of the Islamic Emirate useless.
 
According to him, "there is no talk of recognizing the Islamic Emirate at the moment; there are many issues to be discussed."
 
Meanwhile, Zamir Kabulov, the Russian president's special envoy for Afghanistan, said in an interview with Russian state television Channel 1 on Tuesday that Moscow would not follow the West’s decision to recognize the Islamic Emirate.
 
He added that there was a possibility that Islamic emirate of Afghanistan would be recognized by the Russian government; If the Islamic Emirate complies with internationally accepted laws.
 
He said in a positive tone about the Islamic Emirate that the group is ready to cooperate with Russia and move in accordance with international law.
 
Kabulov also noted that President Putin had ordered increased cooperation with Afghanistan and the export of grain and other products.
 
According to him, in this regard, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Islamic Emirate will probably visit Moscow in the near future and a memorandum of understanding will be signed between the two countries on the purchase of Russian products.
