26 thousand tons of corn on the way to Lebanon
The ambassador of Ukraine in Beirut announced the legal arrival of 26,000 tons of corn in the Lebanese ports in the next few days.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Ukrainian Ambassador to Beirut Ihor Ustach said: We expect 26,000 tons of corn to be legally exported to Beirut only on the ship "Razoni" and will arrive in Lebanese ports within the next 4-5 days.
 
According to Al-Nashrah report, on Monday, the Ministry of Defense of Turkey announced the completion of the inspection of the Ukrainian grain cargo ship that had left from the former port of Odessa in Ukraine to complete its route to Lebanon and said: This is the first ship loaded with corn bound for Lebanon that the port He left Odessa for Lebanon, under the supervision of the United Nations and Turkey, based on the grain transportation agreement between Russia and Ukraine.
 
On July 22, under the supervision of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, the signing ceremony of the "Initiative Document for Safe Transportation of Grains and Food from Ukrainian Ports" was held in Istanbul between Turkey, Russia, Ukraine and The United Nations was held.
 
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres warmly welcomed the departure of the first Ukrainian grain ship from the port of Odessa. Dmitry Kolba, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, also considered the resumption of grain exports as a relief for the whole world.
