Iran condemned the terrorist attack on the worshipers of Gazergah Masjid in Herat/Kanaani: We will stand by Afghanistan
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Consulate General of this country in Herat province, in separate messages, condemned the terrorist attack on the worshipers of the Gazrgah Mosque, which resulted in the death and wounding of 41 people, including Maulvi Mujib al-Rahman Ansari, the Friday prayer preacher of this mosque.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Nasser Kanani, the spokesman of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, strongly condemned the unfortunate terrorist attack yesterday (Friday, Sep 2) on the worshipers of Gazergah Mosque in Herat, Afghanistan.
 
Expressing concern over the continuation of terrorist attacks in Afghanistan, the spokesperson of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran will stand by Afghanistan and its oppressed nation in fighting against the sinister phenomenon of extremism, violence and terrorism.
 
The spokesman of Iran's foreign policy while offering his condolences to the families of the victims of this terrorist attack, prayed to Almighty God for the speedy recovery of the wounded and injured.
 
In another message, the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Herat, while strongly condemning the terrorist attack on the Gazrgah Sharif Mosque, offered its condolences to the respected families of the victims of this crime and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured and the wounded from the presence of God.
 
It should be noted that 41 people including Mawlavi Mujib al-Rahman Ansari and his brother were killed and injured during the terrorist attack on the worshipers of Gazergah Mosque in Herat yesterday. ISIS terrorist group took responsibility for this road attack.
