The Islamic Emirate demanded to return the frozen money of Afghanistan to the central bank
In response to the news of the transfer of half of the frozen assets of Afghanistan to a bank in Switzerland, the Islamic Emirate, in addition to opposing this decision of the United States, demanded the return of these funds to the country's central bank.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Turkish state TV has reported on Tuesday, September 13, that the Islamic Emirate, while opposing the Americans' plan, has demanded the transfer of frozen funds to the Central Bank of Afghanistan.

An official of the Central Bank of the Islamic Emirate, whose name has not been revealed, told Turkish state television that the US can monitor how this money is spent by transferring money to a bank in Switzerland.

While the Islamic Emirate has opposed the US plan to transfer the frozen funds of Afghanistan to a Swiss bank, the US is supposed to appoint a panel of experts in this regard in the coming days.

It should be noted that after many discussions with representatives of the Islamic Emirate, America has decided to transfer 3.5 billion dollars of frozen assets of Afghanistan to the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) in Switzerland.
