Guterres once again called for the reopening of girls
At the same time as girls' schools have been closed for one year in the country, the Secretary General of the United Nations once again asked the Islamic Emirate to return girls to schools. According to him, a year of lost knowledge and opportunity can never be compensated.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Antonio Guterres, the Secretary General of the United Nations, said in a tweet today (Sunday, September 18, 2022): "The Islamic Emirate should return girls to schools."

It should be mentioned that the Islamic Emirate promised to reopen girls' last year after taking control of Afghanistan but after a year, they still haven't fulfilled their promise.
