Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, In support of Norwegian Afghanistan Committee (NAC) 4361 women will be involved in home gardening in seven districts of Khost including the center of the province, the project started on Sunday, said local officials.
The provincial official of NAC Alef Jan says that 816 job opportunities will be provided in the center and 500 in each district of the province.
According to him, each woman will receive 8 types of improved vegetable seeds and horticulture materials in coordination with the agriculture sector.
Meanwhile, the Director of Khost Economy department has assured the officials of the NAC of all kinds of cooperation on behalf of the provincial administration.
Experts say with the implementation of the projects, many families will be self-sufficient and will be able to strengthen their economy.
