Silk production in the name of Afghanistan and six other countries has registered globally
The World Scientific, Educational and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) registered the production of silk products in the name of Afghanistan and six other countries.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): This organization has announced that on the fourth day of the seventeenth meeting of the Committee for the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage, which is being held in the city of Rabat, Morocco, traditional silk productions in the name of Afghanistan, Iran, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan have been registered.
 
Silk production has been popular in Afghanistan since ancient times.
 
Silk is obtained from the cocoons of silkworms that feed on the leaves of mulberry trees.
 
Clothes, handkerchiefs and scarves are often produced from Afghan silk
