More than 800 tons of goods have been exported through air corridors

Afghan Voice News Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Akhundzada Abdul Salam Javad, the spokesman of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, told AVA reporter that in the last 8 months, more than 600 tons of goods, including carpets, pine cones, heng and handicrafts, have been exported to China through the air corridor. .

 

Javad added that in the same period, he has exported about 200 tons of other goods to India through a private company and also exported to other countries through Dubai.

 

Stating that in the last eight months, we exported more than 1.2 billion dollars, Javad added that the most income from exports was through the air corridor.

 

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Industry and Trade also emphasized that the ministry is trying to create an air corridor between Afghanistan and other countries to provide more opportunities for the export of Afghan businessmen's goods.

 

On the other hand, traders emphasize that the air corridors with other countries should be reactivated to facilitate their exports, especially pine nuts.

 

Based on their statements, considering the current situation, it is necessary to establish direct air corridors with European countries for the export of goods.

 

Based on the statistics of the Chamber of Commerce and Investment, 5 thousand tons of pine nuts were exported outside the country through air corridors.

 

However, the Ministry of Finance announced the increase in imports and exports through air corridors, saying that in the last 15 months, nearly 8 billion Afghanis were imported and exports worth 4.3 billion Afghanis were made.

 

Ahmad Wali Haqmal, the spokesman of the Ministry of Finance told the media that the ministry has collected about 1 billion Afghanis in revenue through the air corridor.
