The use of low-quality fuel has caused an increase in air pollution
Following a number of citizens' complaints about air pollution in the capital, the National Environmental Protection Department says that the use of smoky fuels, high prices of petroleum products, smoky vehicles and lack of sufficient electricity have caused an increase in air pollution in the capital. But they force high-rise buildings to use purifiers to reduce it.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Basir Amin, head of the National Environmental Protection Department, in an interview with AVA reporter, said: In order to reduce air pollution, this department has mandated teams to remove activities that lead to air pollution.

The head of the National Environmental Protection Department added that the use of smoky fuels, high prices of petroleum products, smoky vehicles and lack of sufficient electricity have caused the increase in air pollution in the capital.

Amin added that this department takes a commitment from those whose activities cause environmental pollution to use materials that do not cause air pollution, otherwise their activities will be blocked.

Amin stated that this department has issued a notice to residential buildings that if coal is used in their heating system, they must use a smoke purifier.

He wants people to use less fuel that causes air pollution and use more liquid gas and electricity to heat their homes.

Gol-agha; the resident of Kabul says that population density and people's use of low-quality fuels have caused air pollution. He wants the government to make efforts in this field.

Zia Another resident of Kabul city says that air pollution has caused various diseases among people and asks the government to prevent its spread.

He also asks the international community to help the Islamic Emirate and not involve environmental issues with politics.

It should be noted that every year with the arrival of the cold season, people's use of low-quality fuel causes an increase in air pollution in Kabul, which the government has not yet done basic work in this field.
