Many aid activities would cease without women aid workers
The directors of 20 international organizations and donors in Afghanistan, including the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Aid (OCHA), in a joint statement criticizing the ban on the work of women in domestic and foreign non-governmental organizations, warned that without female aid workers, many aid activities in Afghanistan would stop.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Following the new decision of the Ministry of Economy of the Islamic Emirate regarding the prohibition of women's work in domestic and foreign non-governmental organizations, due to what has been called non-observance of hijab and Islamic values, mostly western organizations and institutions in the country. While reacting seriously to this decision, they asked the Islamic Emirate to reconsider its decision. Some of these institutions have suspended their activities in Afghanistan.
According to the managers of 20 international organizations and international donors in Afghanistan, they said that the Taliban's decision to ban women from working in non-governmental humanitarian organizations is a big blow to vulnerable communities, women, children and the whole country.

These managers have said that female employees are the key to responding to the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan. "They (women) are educators, nutritionists, team leaders, community health workers, vaccinators, nurses, doctors and heads of organizations."

They have said that women aid workers have access to populations that their male colleagues cannot reach.
These managers have emphasized that women's participation in aid delivery is not negotiable and must continue.

The managers of international organizations and donors have further said that they predict that many activities should be stopped; "Because we cannot provide basic humanitarian aid without female aid workers."

They want the Islamic Emirate to cancel the decision to ban women's work, education and education, and no country can deprive half of its population from participating in society.

On the other hand, the foreign ministers of 12 countries and the high representative of the European Union also expressed their concern in a joint statement about the prohibition of women's work in non-governmental organizations and said that this decision of the Islamic Emirate will harm the lives of millions of Afghan citizens who depend on humanitarian aid for their survival.

This is despite the fact that there have always been serious criticisms about the performance of international aid organizations, especially the quality of this aid and the misuse of international aid by them, which has received little attention. Some of the food items donated by these institutions in the past months were out of date and spoiled.
