Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Mazar-e-Sharif: On the eve of Hazrat Zahra's birthday and Women's Day, Hojjat-ul-Islam Sayed Baqir Hashemi, an expert on religious issues in Baghlan, told AVA: The virtue and greatness of Fatima Zahra (s.a.), in Islam and in the conditions of the Arab society at that time, shows that a woman has a great position in all human dignity.
According to this religious scholar, when we study the life of Hazrat Zahra (s.a.), and her status, we see that a woman in Islam has achieved so much greatness that she becomes a role model not only for women but for all of humanity.
Mr. Hashemi added: Before Islam, women were a disgrace to the society, but Islam and the Holy Prophet (PBUH) defined a place for women and she spread the carpet to the throne and gave them status and greatness.
This religious scholar said that in Islam, a woman is presented as a mother, sister, or wife, and the whole society should serve her, and in Islam, a woman can be like a man in all social, economic, and political activities by maintaining the Islamic veil.
He emphasized: In Islam, we have that divine inspiration has been revealed to women, and wherever the Qur'an addresses men, it also mentions women. As we see in Islamic history, Allah (SWT) inspired in the hearts of Moses' mother and Mary, the mother of Jesus, and with this inspiration, he gave her dignity and greatness.
According to this religious scholar, in Islam, a woman has all the independence of thought, theory, freedom of thought, expression, pen, work and can have all human values.
Mr. Hashemi also said that Islam wants the woman to have her own lofty position, to be a mujahid, to have a religious life and to be the center of the family. As Fatimah Zahra (s.a.), means that Allah (SWT) has made a woman the center of creation and the center of the family of infallibility, and he (SWT) told the Prophet (PBUH) that the light of Fatima Zahra (s.a.), was created before all mankind.
This religious scholar stated that due to the approach of Fatima Zahra's (s.a.) birthday, the Islamic community should study and examine the life of heavenly women, especially Zahra Marzia (s.a.), so that they can become familiar with her life and make her their role model.
He pointed out that if the women of the Islamic society follow the example of the life of Hazrat Zahra (s.a.), they will undoubtedly reach the true position and greatness of women defined by Islam.
At the same time, Zahra Alizada, professor of Balkh University, also said: Women are responsible for the development of human beings and educators of society.
