Hussain Amir Abdollahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on his third trip to the countries of the region, after visiting Lebanon and Syria, yesterday Tuesday (January 17) arrived in Ankara, the capital of Turkey, and met with the President and Minister of Foreign Affairs of this country.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Following his trip to Ankara today, Dr. Hussain Amir Abdollahian met with Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the Turkish Presidential Palace after talking with his Turkish counterpart.
 
It is expected that one of the main points of consultation between the authorities of Tehran and Ankara in this trip is to prepare the preparations for the visit of Ayatollah Sayed Ibrahim Raisi, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Turkey, as well as to review the latest developments in West Asia, the South Caucasus and the recent talks between Turkey and be Syria
 
After arriving in Ankara this morning, Hussain Amir Abdollahian told reporters about the goals of his trip to this neighboring country, stating that they will discuss bilateral and regional issues in the meeting with Turkish officials, and emphasized that Iran-Turkey relations are on the right track and today we can mention Turkey as one of the neighbors that have the best relations with Iran.
 
He noted: During this trip and during the meeting with Turkish President Erdoğan and Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu, some regional issues including developments in West Asia, South Caucasus and other international issues were discussed.
