The police of Finland stated that the country will not allow the burning of the Quran in public space, saying that the laws state that desecration of the holy books of religions is a punishable crime.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): After widespread global negative reactions to the actions of Swedish, Dutch and Danish politicians in desecrating the Holy Quran in public, the Finnish police have announced their approach to prevent the repetition of this heinous and anti-Islamic act.

The National Police Board of Finland announced on Monday evening (10th of Aquarius) in a statement that the police forces of this country will not allow the burning of the Quran in public.

According to the Olei website, the statement sent to the Finnish news agency "STT" states: "Finnish laws stipulate that violating religious and religious peace is a punishable crime."

The Finnish police emphasized that burning or desecrating religious scriptures in public is an example of this crime and will be punished.

A poll by Olei website also shows that the majority of Finnish lawmakers want the country's sanctity of religions law, which includes six months in prison for blasphemy, to remain in place.

After the release of the statement of the Finnish police, "Ebrahim Kalin", the spokesperson of the Turkish presidency, welcomed these statements and expressed hope for the example of other countries.

On Tuesday morning, Colin wrote on his Twitter page, sharing the news of the Finnish police statement: "Finland announced that it does not allow the burning of the Koran. We welcome this reasonable decision and hope that it will be an example for other countries."

Earlier, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said that Ankara has fewer problems with Helsinki, referring to the possibility of evaluating Finland's application for NATO membership apart from Sweden's application.

Two days after the desecration of the Holy Quran in Sweden, which was already unprecedented, this act of desecration was repeated in the Netherlands, and recently this act of desecration took place in Denmark. This action was accompanied by Turkey's sharp reaction and the summoning of the ambassadors of the mentioned countries.
