An increase in the number of victims of the deadly earthquake in Turkey and Syria; Switzerland did not accept the lifting of sanctions against Syria

In this context, the US Department of Treasury announced in a statement: "The Office of Foreign Assets Control of the Department of the Treasury issued a general license for Syria, which has been issued for 180 days for all transactions related to providing relief to earthquake victims in Syria."
 
At the same time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Syria has emphasized: "The misleading decision of the US government regarding the temporary and partial suspension of some unilateral sanctions against the Syrian people is nothing more than a repetition of previous fake decisions aimed at creating a false impression of humanitarianism.
