Munir Zaghir: Quds is on the verge of a nationwide intifada
The head of the Al-Quds Revival Committee warned Israel about the start of a new Palestinian intifada in occupied Al-Quds.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): According to Shahab News, "Mounir Zaghir", the head of the Quds Revitalization Committee, announced that the continuation of the racist and discriminatory policies of the Zionist regime in the occupied Jerusalem against the Palestinians has caused the beginning of a new intifada and It will be nationwide, starting from the Shuafat camp and expanding to other areas and camps in Quds, and will eventually reach the West Bank of the Jordan River.
 
Referring to the general strike of Palestinians in the occupied Jerusalem, which started in protest against the aggressive and brutal policies against the people of Jerusalem, Zaghir emphasized: What is happening in the occupied Jerusalem, especially the Shufat camp, is due to the pressures by the regime. Occupiers and racists are applied against the residents of Quds.
 
The head of the Quds Revitalization Committee added: The aggressions of the Zionist regime against the people of Quds, including murder, destruction of houses, their deportation and other crimes at checkpoints, have resulted in many reactions from the Palestinians.
 
Zaghir described the Palestinian general strike in this city as an effective measure against the Zionist regime and said: The policy of mass punishment against the people of Jerusalem is useless and failed, especially since the Zionist occupation has tested these measures more than once and it is a result of They have not received it.
 
Zaghir emphasized: Itamar Ben Guer, the extreme Minister of Internal Security of the Zionist regime, has moved the battle to the center of occupied Jerusalem due to his racist decisions, and this issue will ultimately cause concern and confusion for the security services of the Zionist regime.
 
It should be mentioned that the residents of Jerusalem started a nationwide strike in the early hours of yesterday morning (Sunday, 30th of December) in protest against the continued aggression of the Zionist regime.
 
Palestinian youth also clashed with Zionist soldiers by gathering in the streets and public places.
 
Meanwhile, the national and Islamic groups and the youth movement in the Shuafat camp located in the northeast of occupied Jerusalem declared civil disobedience in a statement yesterday morning (Sunday) in response to the crimes of the Zionist regime against this regime and its institutions.
 
On the other hand, women captives in "Al-Damon" prison started protest actions due to the deterioration of their situation and the continuation of brutal policies of the occupying regime.
 
Palestinian captive women closed the gate of Al-Damun prison, one of the prison's cells, in protest against the occupation regime's punitive measures against six Palestinian captive women, and peacefully went on strike in the prison area.
 
The women also held placards that read: "Neither bread nor water... we only want freedom"; they also announced the continuation of keeping this section closed until the cancellation of punishment and punishment against the six captive women.
 
  Currently, about 4,800 Palestinian prisoners, including 41 women and 140 children, are imprisoned in the prisons of the Zionist regime, who are exposed to the crimes of the Zionist regime.
 
The Palestinian captive women emphasized and declared that they will continue their resistance until all punitive measures of the occupying regime against them are canceled; their resistance expresses solidarity with Palestinian prisoners and their protest actions.
