Celebrating the International Quds Day in Kandahar/ Speakers; Supporting the Palestinian nation is the duty of conscience and faith of every Muslim
A number of citizens of Kandahar province celebrated the International Quds Day by holding a large gathering. The speakers of this gathering considered supporting the World Quds Day as the duty of conscience and faith of every Muslim and emphasized that the oppressed Palestinian nation should be supported against the oppressive Zionist regime.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kandahar: A ceremony celebrating the International Quds Day was held yesterday in Kandahar province with the presence of scholars, security officials, lawyers, educators and a number of citizens of Kandahar.

Murteza Khaleqi, head of the representative office of Tebyan Social Cultural Activities Center and AVA News Agency in Kandahar, said in this ceremony: Infidels and enemies of Islam advance their sinister interests with various programs and creating violence and terror among Muslims.

He added that by creating various conspiracies, they want to keep Muslims ignorant of the world's political issues and developments, especially Jerusalem, which is the first Qibla of Muslims but a day will definitely come and Muslims will remove the name of the Zionist regime and their supporters from the map of the world, just as Imam Khomeini (RA) named the World Quds Day.

Hojjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimin Masoudi, one of the scholars of Kandahar province, also said in this ceremony: Islam has no boundaries and all Muslims are brothers and we should all move to solve the problem of our Muslim brother.

He added: Just as the infidels help and act for a person with tanks and planes; We should also unite to help every Muslim person, not allow the infidels and Jews to harass, capture or martyr our Muslim brothers and sisters.

Mr. Masoudi added: It is the duty of scholars to make our youth aware of the values and principles of religion and to make them understand how to defend their religion and religious brothers against oppression and arrogance.

This religious scholar further clarified that Muslims should stand against the perpetrators and supporters of the occupying Zionist regime.

He added: One of the qualities of a believer and a Muslim comes from the narration of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) that if a Muslim hears the voice of the oppressed and does not come to their aid, he is not a Muslim. He said that we should act on this narrative and rush to help the needy.

Mohammad Yar Majroh, university professor and speaker of the event, said: "Supporting the International Quds Day is the duty of conscience and faith of every Muslim, and we must support the oppressed people of Palestine and stand up against Israel's oppression."

He added: Muslims are currently influenced by the theory of nationalism, and they think that they only have to defend their country and land, and other Muslims have nothing to do with us. But this is not the case, Muslims should not only fight for their country, but also fight for their religion and defend their religion and their Muslim brothers and sisters.

He also said: Just as the Companions left their cities and homes to spread the blessed religion of Islam and traveled miles to be able to bring Islam to people in the farthest corners of the world, we also have a duty to spread the religion of Islam in the world. Let's defend today.

He asked all Muslims to take action for the liberation of Palestine and fulfill their Islamic rights.

It should be noted that the World Quds Day has been celebrated in most Islamic and non-Islamic countries.

World Quds Day coincides with the last Friday of Ramadan every year. This day was named by Imam Khomeini (RA) in 1358 AH, for the purpose of supporting the oppressed Palestinian nation.
