Seizure of an American ship by Iran in the Persian Gulf

The Iranian army has said that in this operation, a destroyer of this country named (Binder) seized the offending ship that was fleeing with the flag of the Marshall Islands and guided it to the coastal waters of Iran.

 

The US Navy also claimed that Iran seized an oil tanker of this country with the flag of the Marshall Islands in the Gulf of Oman today.

 

It is said that the above-mentioned ship was carrying cargo belonging to the United States of America, which was traveling under the flag of the Marshall Islands.

 

The 5th Fleet of the American Navy based in the Middle East has introduced this ship with the name (Adventage Suite).

 

According to the Navy, the vessel had just arrived from Kuwait and had listed its destination as Houston, Texas.

 

American officials have said that according to satellite data, the seized ship was traveling in the Gulf of Oman and north of Muscat, the capital of Oman, this evening.

 

At the same time, the United States called Iran's action against international laws and asked Iran to immediately release this oil tanker.

 

It should be noted that this is not the first seizure of American and Western ships in the Persian Gulf by Iran, several years ago Iran detained several American sailors when they entered the border waters of this country.
