Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Abdul Rahman bin Jassim Al Thani said on Wednesday (May 18) in a joint press conference with his German counterpart, Analena Berbuk: "We have our position regarding the decision to return to Syria." We announced to the Arab League that we do not want to deviate from the consensus of the Arab countries regarding the return of Syria to the Arab League.
At the same time, he pointed out: each country has its own independent decision to normalize bilateral relations with Syria.
Al-Thani further emphasized: Syria's joining the Arab League will be the only appropriate solution and reach a fair and inclusive decision.
Qatar's foreign minister added: the solution to return stability to Syria must be satisfactory for the people of this country.
