Khan Jan Alokozay, a member of the leadership board of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment, also welcomed the recent decree of the leader of the Islamic Emirate to reduce taxes for businessmen.
 
He added that the Islamic Emirate has solved most of the problems of the country's businessmen in various fields.
 
According to him, the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment has created a committee to quickly solve the problems of traders. He asked the businessmen to submit their suggestions and opinions to this committee.
 
Criticizing Pakistan, Khan Jan Alkozi added that although the Minister of Industry and Trade of Afghanistan has gone to Pakistan, hundreds of cargoes belonging to the country's businessmen are still stuck in the port of Karachi.
 
On the other hand, Yunus Momand, head of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment, said that Afghanistan's export goods are exported to European Union countries, America and Central Asia.
 
Referring to the complaints of a number of businessmen for not receiving visas from some countries, he added: "In the new decree issued by the leader of the Islamic Emirate, he ordered the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to solve the problems of obtaining visas for businessmen and investors."
 
Younes Momand welcomed the recent decree of the leadership of the Islamic Emirate to support the businessmen of the country and emphasized that paying taxes to the government will lead to progress and solve the economic problems of the society.
 
The head of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment asked the Islamic Emirate to impose higher taxes on imported goods in order to support domestic products.
 
He asked the businessmen and investors who are outside Afghanistan to return to the country and cooperate with the government in economic activities.
 
Meanwhile, a number of businessmen and industrialists say that the Islamic Emirate should impose a further reduction in tax collection.
 
Some time ago, Mullah Haibatullah Akhundzada, the leader of the Islamic Emirate, had reduced the quarterly tax from 4 percent to 2 percent in order to grow and develop the private sector of the country.
 
In this decree, 7 percent tax has been exempted in order to support and grow the agricultural, industrial and commercial sectors.
