Islamic State (ISIS) fighters claimed responsibility for Tuesday’s car bomb attack in Badakhshan.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, On Tuesday, ISIS wrote on Telegram, saying its fighters succeeded to detonate a bomb targeting Islamic Emirate deputy governor Mawlavi Nisar Ahmad Ahamdi, which also left six others injured, according to provincial officials.
Mazudeen Ahmadi, the head of the Information and Culture Department of the Islamic Emirate said the deputy governor’s vehicle was attacked while it was on its way to a court in Faizabad, the provincial capital of Badakhshan province.
The injured people have been transferred to the provincial hospital for treatment, sources said.
