In this interview, Hassan Kazemi Qomi stated that the rulers in Afghanistan today say that this is an international treaty and a treaty that is binding for us, and changing the systems will not destroy the treaties. Both in writing and in official notes and in the form of talks and negotiations, they have signed the treaty and the obligation and adherence to its implementation.
He stated that according to paragraph 5 of the treaty, the Iranian side can see the situation in the region and added: Afghanistan's rulers do not have any dispute on this issue, and in the recent official note, they emphasized that the problem that happened to the water measuring station, has been resolved and Iranian experts can visit the region; Therefore, the space moves in the direction that if it is blue, it will enter the soil of Iran.
The Special Representative of the President of Iran for Afghanistan Affairs recalled that previously, the time required for the negotiation and visit of Iranian experts to the region was announced as one month, and 15 days of that have passed.
He continued: "Over the past two years, several water summits have been held between the two countries, and the Afghan side has announced that we are committed, and we have formed the commission and taken steps forward."
Kazemi Qomi added that according to this treaty, 820 million cubic meters of water should enter Iran in normal water years.
