The Ministry of Mines and Petroleum of Afghanistan held a coordination meeting to discuss further progress of the Jabal Saraj Parwan cement plant.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, During the meeting, Sheikh Shahabuddin Delawar, Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum, shared details about the process of exploration, extraction, and processing of the mentioned cement plant to participants, according to the Ministry’s statement.
A responsible committee is supposed to start its work on the process of evaluating the proposals and documents of the volunteer companies after opening the bids.
This must be noted that the Jabal Saraj cement plant with an investment of more than 200 million US dollars with the capacity to produce about six thousand tons of cement per day will provide direct and indirect job opportunities for thousands of people.
