Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The Pakistani police announced on Tuesday that a bombing operation took place near a mosque in the Jamrud area, located in the northwest of the country, in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
It is said that a senior police officer of Jamrud region was killed and another person was injured in this bombing.
So far, no group has claimed responsibility for this bombing.
This is the third suicide attack in Pakistan in less than a week.
Terrorist incidents have intensified in Pakistan in the last two years. During the past one year, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan has taken responsibility for many bombings and suicide attacks in Peshawar and other areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
