Iran's Foreign Minister, in a meeting with Asif Ali Khan Durrani, the special representative of the Prime Minister of Pakistan for Afghanistan affairs, emphasized the need to support regional initiatives within the framework of neighbors in order to help solve Afghanistan's challenges.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: In a newsletter of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, it is stated that Dr. Hussain Amir Abdullahian met with Asif Ali Khan Durrani, the Special Representative of the Prime Minister of Pakistan for Afghanistan Affairs, on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.
 
In this meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran expressed the hope that the continuation of these consultations will help to bring more peace and tranquility in the region, especially in Afghanistan.
 
Amir Abdullahian further reviewed the situation in Afghanistan and emphasized the need to support regional initiatives within the framework of neighbors in order to help solve the challenges of Afghanistan.
 
In this meeting, Asif Ali Khan Durrani also expressed his satisfaction with the opportunity to exchange views and dialogue between the parties and by presenting his assessment of the developments and conditions of Afghanistan in various political and security dimensions, he emphasized: Pakistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran in order to help establish peace and Stability is working in Afghanistan.
 
Pakistan's special representative for Afghanistan affairs traveled to Tehran on Monday, September 11, 2023, with the aim of bilateral and regional consultations with the Islamic Republic of Iran, especially to review the developments in Afghanistan.
