Tajikistan humanitarian aid caravan arrived in Afghanistan. Local media outlets reported.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, According to the Taliban official, Hafiz Obaidullah, informed the media that this caravan includes tents, drinking water, sleeping mats, blankets, and essential supplies.
The caravan, which entered Afghanistan from Tajikistan through the Sher Khan Port, has a specific mission: to assist the earthquake-stricken residents of Herat.
 
Its arrival marks a crucial step in addressing the needs of the affected population, as this humanitarian effort is focused on delivering much-needed support to those impacted by the earthquake in Herat.
 
Furthermore, Tajikistan has announced that this caravan, consisting of 130 trucks carrying 3,250 tons of humanitarian aid, has been sent to the people of Herat from their country.
 
These aids, valued at USD 1.5 million, include cement and fuel materials.
 
This comes as the World Food Programme (WFP) states that it requires USD 19 million to assist 100,000 earthquake-affected individuals in Afghanistan.
