The government of Pakistan announced the expulsion of more than 500,000 Afghan immigrants from this country
The government of Pakistan recently announced that since the beginning of the process of expelling illegal immigrants from this country, 541,210 Afghan immigrants have been deported from Pakistan.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Based on the Express Tribune report, Pakistan's Ministry of Interior has shared this statistic with the Senate of this country.

The ministry has stated: "About 1.7 million foreign immigrants live in the country illegally, the majority of them are Afghans. They live without any legal documents necessary to stay in the country."

The ministry added that 271 thousand 985 illegal Afghan immigrants were deported to Afghanistan through Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and 159 thousand 161 people were deported to Afghanistan through Baluchistan border.

According to this report, another 110,640 migrants have left Pakistan voluntarily.

According to the ministry, efforts are underway to identify and deport the remaining people.

Forced return and deportation of undocumented Afghan immigrants from Pakistan has been going on since October last year.
