Emphasizing the Acting Minister of Economy to launch work-for-food programs in the country
The Acting Minister of Economy, in a meeting with the Special Representative of the UN Secretary General for Afghanistan, the head of UNAMA and OCHA, emphasized the implementation of humanitarian aid projects by launching work-for-food programs.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Press Office of the Ministry of Economy published a newsletter saying that Qari Din Mohammad Hanif, Acting Minister of Economy, met with Roza Otunbaeva, the Special Representative of the UN Secretary General for Afghanistan and the head of UNAMA, and Isabel, the head of OCHA office.

In this meeting, the Acting Minister of Economy emphasized the implementation of humanitarian aid projects by launching work-for-food programs, supporting domestic and foreign enterprises, and supporting domestic products in order to help the needy.

Meanwhile, the head of the Ocha office assured the implementation of job creation projects in the country in order to create work environment for the people in the coming year.
 
Also, Daniel Anders, the former UNAMA deputy and UN humanitarian aid coordinator, and Indrika Ratwathe, the new deputy of this office, were also present in this meeting.
