The meeting of the representatives of the region and neighboring countries will be held today in Kabul

Meanwhile, Zakir Jalali, advisor to Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Emirate, has written on his X page: After almost two and a half years of the Islamic Emirate's government and the different approaches of regional and western actors in interacting with the Islamic Emirate; Regional actors have noticed the formation of more regular interaction between Afghanistan and the region with a regional approach based on common interests and threats.

This official of the Islamic Emirate added that "Understanding this situation, Kabul and regional actors have started coordinating efforts to bring their positions closer together. We hope that these efforts will lead to a win arrangement for the benefit of the entire region."

It is worth recalling that the Islamic Republic of Iran presented the plan for the formation of a regional contact group at the last meeting of the Moscow format in the month.

Earlier, Hassan Kazemi Qomi, Iran's representative in Afghanistan affairs, said in a meeting with Pakistan's foreign minister that the contact group is going to present a "package of constructive proposals" to the Islamic Emirate.

Iran's special representative said: "The contact group and its agenda can be expanded and can address the concerns of Afghanistan's neighbors, regional countries, and the international community about Afghanistan in the form of a specific agenda with a logical timeline, step by step."
