Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: A meeting titled "Afghan Regional Cooperation Initiative" was held in Kabul on Monday (January 29) with the presence of special representatives of regional and neighboring countries. In this meeting, the new chapter of the positive interaction of the countries of the region with the Islamic Emirate, coordination in the field of regional cooperation, creation of a common region-oriented narrative at the regional level and joint cooperation for maximum use of the economic opportunities of the region were discussed.

In this meeting, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amir Khan Motaghi stated that the main purpose of holding this meeting is to discuss and discuss the formation of a regional narrative with the aim of developing regional cooperation for positive and constructive interaction between Afghanistan and the countries of the region.

Amir Khan Muttaqi says: "Regional cooperation can be focused on the following main issues, examining the ways of regional cooperation and interaction based on common regional interests creating a regional narrative for positive and constructive interaction with the Afghan government to combat actual and potential threats in the region - Striving for soft connection and hard connection that will lead to regional economic development for the benefit of all the people of our region.

Wais Naseri, an expert on international relations, said in a conversation with AVA that holding a meeting of special representatives of the regional countries on Afghan affairs in Kabul is very important because it will strengthen the Islamic Emirate's interaction with the regional countries.

He added that if the leaders of the Islamic Emirate accept the legitimate demands of these countries, these countries will recognize the government of Afghanistan and this recognition will pave the way for the recognition of the Islamic Emirate in the United Nations.

According to this expert on international relations, the main request of the countries of the region in this meeting is the establishment of an inclusive government from the Islamic Emirate, therefore it is necessary for the leaders of the Islamic Emirate to respond to the request of the countries of the region because this is also the request of the people of Afghanistan.

He also emphasized that after the Islamic Emirate came to power in Afghanistan, the meetings held by the countries of the world regarding Afghanistan, their requests were to establish an inclusive government, therefore, if the leaders of the Islamic Emirate do not respond positively to this request of the countries of the region, it will be very It is difficult for countries, the world and the region to recognize the government of Afghanistan.

At the same time, Malik Setiz, an expert on international relations, has also written on X social network that the meeting of the representatives of the regional countries at the initiative of the Islamic Emirate is an important achievement for the foreign policy of the Afghan government.

He added that the purpose of this meeting is to lobby the Islamic Emirate with the governments of the region on the upcoming meeting in Doha, which will be launched at the invitation of the UN Secretary General in February.

According to his words, the Taliban leaders will try to convey their message to the Doha meeting through the governments of the region and especially the two members of the Security Council, namely Russia and China.

It is worth mentioning that after the establishment of the Islamic Emirate in Afghanistan, this is the first time that the special representatives in Afghanistan affairs will meet in a joint meeting in Kabul.
