In Muttaqi meeting with the Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan, increasing trade was emphasized
In a meeting with his Turkmen counterpart, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amir Khan Muttaqi, has called for the early issuance of visas to Afghan businessmen and transport workers in order to increase trade and transfer goods.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Abdul Qahar Balkhi, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, published a newsletter on X channel on Monday (February 26) and announced Muttaqi's meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Murdov.
 
Muttaqi added that Ashgabat should provide scholarships to Afghan students.
 
Meanwhile, Balkhi also quoted Mardove and wrote that he pledged to work to facilitate the movement of Afghan businessmen and transportation workers to this country.
 
He added that Turkmenistan will provide scholarships to Afghan students in the fields of electricity, railway, transportation and gas.
 
This is while Amir Khan Muttaqi traveled to Ashgabat on Sunday at the head of a delegation at the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
 
This trip was made while the fifth meeting of foreign ministers of Afghanistan's neighboring countries is scheduled to be held by Turkmenistan.
