By creating a buffer zone around Gaza, the Zionist regime confiscates 16% of the area of this strip

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Zionist regime television announced the development of a plan to create a buffer zone between the Gaza Strip and the occupied lands, and with its implementation, 16% of the Gaza Strip's area will be confiscated.

 

Some sources told the "Kan11" TV channel of the Zionist regime that the construction of a "security" buffer zone that will create a distance between the Gaza Strip and the occupied lands, requires the confiscation of nearly 16% of the total area of the Gaza Strip.

 

These sources stated: Without the creation of such an area, it will be impossible for the Zionist refugees from the heavily populated southern settlements to return to the Gaza Strip, which were evacuated by Hamas after the October 7 attack.

 

The mentioned sources further said: The width of the buffer zone will reach one kilometer in some areas and it will be close to 600 meters in other areas.

 

They added: When the process of building this area ends, the Gaza Strip will lose nearly 16% of its total area.

 

Adi Bennoun, a Zionist expert and one of the professors of the Zionist universities, also confirmed this in an interview with Kan11.

 

Analyzing the measures taken by the Zionist military establishment to build this buffer zone, he said: This project requires the confiscation of 16% of the area of Gaza.

 

Pointing out that the length of the Gaza strip is 41 km and its width is about 6 to 12 km, and its total area reaches 365 square kilometers, this Hebrew network emphasized: There is another plan that will divide Gaza into two parts, the Zionist regime The construction of a six-and-a-half-kilometer long and 300-meter wide road has begun, and this means that the military establishment of this regime has determined a smaller area to connect the west and east of the Gaza Strip.

 

The Zionist TV reported further: The purpose of this transportation route is to divide the Gaza Strip into two parts, north and south, and to carry out military patrols in this area until the end of the war.

 

At the same time, US President Joe Biden's government has announced its opposition to this plan and warned that such a plan endangers the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Gaza Strip.

 

According to Isna, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had previously announced to US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken that the army of this regime would be stationed in the buffer zone around the Gaza Strip. Expressing surprise at the plan and demanding more details, Netanyahu assured him that Tel Aviv would create a deep buffer zone in Gaza and that the area would remain under its military control until after the war.

 

At the beginning of the same month, the media of the Zionist regime unveiled this plan for the first time and considered it one of the solutions to prevent possible operations similar to the October 7th attack.
