In the upcoming meeting in Doha, the achievements of the Islamic Emirate will be shared with the international community
In a meeting with the Political Vice President of the United Nations Office in Afghanistan (UNAMA), the Deputy Director of Humanitarian Affairs called the Pakistani government's treatment of Afghan refugees wrong and, referring to the upcoming meeting in Doha, said that they will share the achievements of the Islamic Emirate with the international community through this meeting.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Press Office of the Prime Minister's Office published a statement saying that Maulavi Abdul Kabir, the political deputy of the Islamic Emirate's Prime Minister's Office, met with Andrika Ratot, the UNAMA's Deputy for Humanitarian Affairs and the head of the United Nations Humanitarian and Development Office for Afghanistan and his accompanying delegation.

In this meeting, UNAMA's Deputy Director of Humanitarian Affairs said that last year's UN assistance to Herat earthquake victims and Afghans expelled from Pakistan was important.

Andrika Ratot added that in addition to requesting three billion dollars from donor countries to deliver humanitarian aid to Afghanistan, they plan to request $2 billion for capacity building.

He expressed his concern about the start of the second process of deporting Afghan immigrants from Pakistan, and said that Afghan immigrants in Pakistan should be given enough time to return to their country and not be forcibly deported.

He also referred to the Pakistani government's treatment of migrants as incorrect and an obstacle to humanitarian aid.

Andrika Ratot emphasized the dialogue between Kabul and Islamabad regarding refugees, said that she will travel to Pakistan in the near future and will talk to the officials of that country about Afghan refugees.

He appreciated the efforts of the Islamic Emirate regarding the initiation of the project of the Casa One Thousand area and added that it supports investments in Afghanistan.

This UN official added that for the purpose of economic development, he is talking with the Afghan sides and the international community to remove the banking barriers in Afghanistan.

Referring to the upcoming meeting in Doha, UNAMA's deputy for humanitarian affairs in Afghanistan said that they will share the achievements of the Islamic Emirate with the international community through this meeting.

On the other hand, Maulvi Abdul Kabir, the political deputy of the Prime Minister's Office, thanked the United Nations and other aid organizations for the assistance, and said that due to the droughts of Peham and the legacy of poverty and hunger left in the Islamic Emirate, Afghans in the humanitarian, development and promotion sectors Capacity needs help.

The political deputy of the Prime Minister's Department added that the expulsion of Afghans from Pakistan in the current situation harms the aid delivery process and the humanitarian situation and emphasized that the refugees should not be used politically.

Maulavi Abdul Kabir added that now security is established in Afghanistan, corruption and cultivation, production and smuggling of drugs have disappeared, coercion has ended, which has provided all these good grounds for investment in the country.

Political Deputy of the Prime Minister's Office asked the Asian Development Bank and other institutions to complete their half-finished projects in Afghanistan.
