Takeyoshi Kurmaya stated this in a meeting with Amir Khan Muttaqi, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs newsletter that was published yesterday (Monday, May 13), the ambassador of Japan said that his country understands the achievements of the Islamic Emirate, and for this reason, he opened his embassy for close cooperation with the Islamic Emirate and to reflect the facts to the government and people of his country. has done.
On the other hand, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs called Afghanistan's relations with Japan historic and expressed hope for further development of these relations.
Amir Khan Muttaqi said that with the increase in the level of understanding of the countries of the region about the Islamic Emirate, interactions have increased.
He expressed gratitude for Japan's humanitarian aid to Afghans and described the completion of Tetsu Nakamura's projects in Nangarhar as a good development.
Mr. Muttaqi added that he has a positive opinion about the Doha meeting and does not consider it necessary to appoint a special representative from the United Nations.
He stated that instead of new mechanisms, it is necessary to discuss all related issues with the Islamic Emirate through existing bilateral mechanisms.
It should be mentioned that the Islamic Emirate refused to participate in the previous meeting in Doha, which was held at the initiative of the United Nations.
