The protesters held the rally outside Bahrain's Ministry of Labor building in the capital of Manama Press TV reported.
They called upon the regime to reinstate their jobs and compensate them for the time they have been kept out of work.
Dismissed workers in the Persian Gulf kingdom have on several occasions held similar rallies.
The Bahraini regime has fired hundreds of people, including civil servants, teachers and medical personnel, since the popular revolution against the Saudi-backed authoritarian rule began in mid-February 2011.
Bahrainis initially demanded political reforms and a constitutional monarchy. However, their demands later changed to an outright call for the ouster of the ruling Al Khalifa family following its brutal crackdown on popular protests.
Scores of people have also been killed and many others have been injured in the crackdown on peaceful protesters in Bahrain.
Bahraini demonstrators hold King Hamad Al Khalifa responsible for the killings in the course of the popular uprising in the country.
