Residents of Badakhshan started the construction of more than 30 km of road with their own money.

Provincial Director for Information and Culture Hekmatullah Mohammadi said, the reconstruction of roads linking eight districts of Badakhshan Province has begun.

66 kilometers of road construction were completed and opened in the capital city. Kabul Municipality said in its annual report.

The reconstruction of a 60km road has started in Paryan district. The Ministry of Public Work said.

Residents of Faryab said because of road construction their homes were destroyed by the municipality.
