The conversation between the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and the Ambassador of Afghanistan in Abu Dhabi on attracting investment in the agriculture sector
Officials in the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock say that the deputy of the ministry has consulted and discussed with the ambassador of the Islamic Emirate in the United Arab Emirates on attracting and encouraging investors and foreign governments to invest in the agriculture sector and launch exhibitions of domestic products outside of Afghanistan.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Misbahuddin Mustain, the head of information and public awareness of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock of the Islamic Emirate, said yesterday (Sunday, April 28) in an interview with AVA reporter that Mawlavi Chancellor Osmani, the deputy of this ministry with Mawlavi Badruddin Haqqani, the ambassador of the Islamic Emirate, has visited the United Arab Emirates.
 
According to him, in this meeting, Maulawi, the chancellor of Osmani, discussed the investment opportunities in the agriculture, livestock and irrigation sector in Afghanistan, attracting and encouraging investors and foreign governments to invest in the agriculture and livestock sector.
 
He added that the export of Afghan products to Arab countries, the establishment of exhibitions of domestic products outside Afghanistan and the marketing of domestic products were among other topics discussed in this meeting.
 
Mr. Mustain says that in this meeting, Maulawi Badruddin Haqqani said that the United Arab Emirates government and a number of investors from Arab countries have expressed their readiness to invest in Afghanistan.
 
Based on his words, the ambassador of the Islamic Emirate in Abu Dhabi has requested the Ministry of Agriculture to create coordination and ease for investors inside the country.
 
On the part of Osmani chancellor Hame Maulavi, he assured the readiness of the ministry in order to bring facilities to foreign businessmen and investors.
 
The head of information and public awareness of the Ministry of Agriculture noted that an understanding was reached to give an information package of investment opportunities in the fields of agriculture, livestock, horticulture, saffron and cotton to the businessmen of the United Arab Emirates so that they can understand that they can work with better privileges in Afghanistan.
 
Meanwhile, the authorities of the Islamic Emirate have repeatedly talked about creating facilities for foreign investors in the country, and on the other hand, with the provision of security throughout the country, the interest of foreign investors to invest in Afghanistan has increased.
