The Turkish police announced that they have arrested 147 members of the ISIS terrorist group in the nationwide anti-terrorist operation in this country.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: According to the Turkish police, dozens of people affiliated with ISIS were arrested in the nationwide anti-terrorist operation in this country on Sunday.

On Sunday, the Turkish police conducted joint operations in 29 provinces against the "PKK" group from the cities of "Istanbul" to "Aghri" in the east of Turkey. According to "Daily Sabah" newspaper, some suspects are accused of making advertisements in favor of PKK on social networks.

The Turkish Interior Ministry said in a statement that the suspects operated news websites as well as social media accounts praising the group.

In this extensive anti-terrorist operation, a large number of pistols, rifles and illegal digital documents were discovered and confiscated.

This operation is part of the efforts to eliminate the presence of PKK in the borders of Turkey, at the same time as Turkish air strikes in Syria and Iraq against the members of this terrorist group.

The Ministry of Defense of Turkey also announced on Sunday that two PKK members were killed in the operations of the Turkish armed forces in northern Iraq and another terrorist was also killed in an area in northern Syria.

Turkey is planning to launch a new offensive against terrorists this summer and is seeking cooperation with Iraq in the form of a joint operation room.
