Talk on the three subjects of nuclear affairs, terrorism fight and Pakistan-Afghanistan affairs seemed to be the purpose of Clinton trip to India while many believed the reason of the trip was to seek close tie with India after the relations between America and Pakistan had been darkened due to the recent dispute over some crisis.
Although some believe the relations between America and Pakistan are so tightened that the crisis like Bin Laden hiding-place in Pakistan when he was killed and delaying the American eight million dollars help to Pakistan can not loosen the ties, the other think since the two sides, Pakistan and America, relations are based on deceiving and giving and receiving privileges, their relationships can face ups and downs. The American officials have accused their Pakistani counterpart of dishonesty and breaking their promises so American officials beside Pakistan are interested in following their colonial plans through India. But for American to reach the India as a partner there are two big obstacles; the Pakistan government and the nature of India government.
Pakistan never let America ignore it to shake hand with India. Unlike the Pakistan government depending on the foreigners help, India is free from any help so for it to get haunted by America ambitious haunter trap seems impossible.
India as a big country in the region never let America and the west to look at this country descendingly but like to play the key role in the region.
The role of Pakistan in Afghanistan staged drama is so firm and strengthened that America’s closing to India with the purpose of making an influential arm power out of India can not replace the Pakistan position.
So, the only choice for America is to keep Pakistan as an old ally. Based on a critic Pakistan for America is like Afghanistan for Pakistan in that no one wants to lose golden card in the political card game of the region.
Although the economical and strategic relations of PAK-America face ups-and-downs, they will go on with their close ties.
