Presidential elections to be held next year, says Ghani

AVA- Speaking during a ceremony to mark the 26th anniversary of Mujahideen’s victory, President Ghani vowed that the elections will be held as per the schedule and directives of the constitution.
He said he will not stay in the office for a even a second without the consent and will of the people.
President Ghani also insisted on the implementation of reforms during his speech and said the reforms will be brought as per the directives of the constitution.
He said the fight is ongoing for the implementation of the constitution, preserving the independence, and the prosperity of the country.
President Ghani further added that the nation has a vast political sense and demand reforms.
According to President Ghani, the political system has been shaped, previously crisis existed to bring in shape the political system, emphasizing that it is duty of the nation to empower the system.
He also added that the government should also prove to the nation that a strong will for the development of the country exists.
