Chaman and Kharlachi crossing points on the Durand Line have been shut for two days coinciding with the general election in the country in Pakistan.
AVA- “The crossing points on Pakistan-Afghanistan border at Chaman and Kharlachi will remain closed on July 24 and 25,” the Foreign Office spokesman said.
In a brief statement, Dr Muhammad Faisal added: “Torkham will, however, remain open for normal traffic.” The elections are due tomorrow (Wednesday).
