Afghan armed forces not allow enemies sleep well: Gen. Yasin Zia
The deputy minister of defense Gen. Yasin Zia has said the enemies of the country will not sleep well emphasizing that the national defense and security forces would go after the enemies of the country as part of their offensive operations.

Gen. Zia made the remarks during a security Shura (meeting) in western Herat province of Afghanistan.
“We need to go after the enemy. We are an offensive, mobile force.  This is the culture of our force,” Gen. Zia said.  
“Commanders will go out to the field with their Soldiers. They will meet and take care of our Soldiers. Herat will be a role model for the rest of the country,” he said, adding that  “The enemy will not sleep well. We will go after them.”
Some other senior defense and governmental officials including NATO and U.S. forces commander General Scott Miller, General Koshal Sadat Deputy Minister for Security, Governor of Abdul Qayoum Rahimi and the Herat Police Chief, Aminullah Amarkhil had also participated in the meeting.
