Afghanistan has confirmed five more cases of coronavirus, its health ministry said on Monday, bringing its total number of cases to 21.
The latest cases were detected in Herat (2), Logar (2) and Badghis (1).
Out of 263 suspected cases tested in the central laboratories of the ministry, 21 of them were positive, while the remaining 242 negative, he said.
There have been no deaths in the country.
Coronavirus cases have been detected in seven of 34 provinces of the country, they are Herat (12), Samangan (3), Logar (2), Badghis (1), Kapisa (1), Balkh (1) and Daikundi (1).
Refugee Minister Syed Hussain Alami Balkh told the parliament on Sunday that around 10 Afghans had died of coronavirus in neighboring Iran.
The Foreign Ministry announced the cancellation of all bilateral meetings and restricted issuing visas due to the coronavirus pandemic.
