Three new hospital will be built in Kabul to accommodate a fresh wave of Coronavirus positive patients, announced the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH). The number of infected patients in Kabul is 3,728.
The decision was made after Minister of Health Ferozuddin Feroz, in a meeting with health officials, announced an increase in Coronavirus cases and a lack of beds in the Afghan-Japan Hospital.

In addition to the large number of positive cases, Kabul province is also dealing with the highest mortality in the country, 29 dead. While there are treatment and quarantine facilities at the Muhammad Ali Jinnah Hospital, Sheikh Zayed Hospital, Esteghlal Hospital and the Darul Aman Palace, the government fears they will soon run out of beds.
