Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: US Special Representative for Afghanistan Thomas West has met with a number of Afghan refugees living in the Abu Dhabi camp and some Afghan businessmen and investors in the United Arab Emirates.
These meetings take place at a time when many experts believe that the United States seeks to expand its hegemony in the region and wants to once again make Afghanistan a place for its utilitarian strategies.
It is worth mentioning that during his periodic visit to the region, Thomas West also met with the leaders of Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and India to discuss the situation in Afghanistan.
